I have worked in education for 18 years, all of which have been in the Primary sector. Prior to joining QEGSMAT I held the position of Regional Director for a large national Trust where I supported 8 academies in both rural and urban settings, providing effective and timely School to School Support in order to achieve improved outcomes. This also encompassed quality assurance of the systems and programmes in place across the academies, including Academy Improvement Plans, Self-Evaluation documents, monitoring the quality of teaching and learning and pupil progress and attainment.
Previously, I have been the Headteacher of a C of E Primary school, leading it successfully through Ofsted and Church School inspections. I am also an accredited SIAMS Inspector.
I am passionate about raising the aspirations of pupils, students and communities, in order to give the young people we serve the best possible life chances.
I am the Designated Safeguarding Lead for our Primary Schools.
