Helen Bartle

I joined QEGSMAT after working primarily for Local Authorities in a variety of roles, including waste and recycling, climate change and asset management. As Facilities Manager for the Trust I oversee the general maintenance, upkeep and, health & safety within the schools ensuring they are safe and compliant places to work and learn.

Chloe Ellis

I joined the QEGSMAT Central Team in November 2018 after being a student at Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School.  I have gained my Level 3 Business qualification and I am now completing a Level 4 School Business Professional apprenticeship. As a Finance Assistant I support both the business and finance functions of the Trust.

Sharon Taylor

With nearly 30 years experience in the Administration/PA role I am responsible for providing support to the CEO, Director of Finance and Operations and the Board of Trustees.  As a member of the QEGSMAT Central Team I am continually developing my knowledge and experience whilst hoping to deliver a proficient service to all.

Beth Ball

I joined the QEGSMAT Central Team in July 2018 upon achieving Double Distinction* for the Level 3 Business BTEC qualification. In July 2019 I completed an apprenticeship in Business Administration. As a Finance Assistant I support the finance function within the Central Team.

Jada Murray

Having gained Triple Distinction* in BTEC Business Level 3, I joined the QEGSMAT Central Team at the beginning of October 2017 and completed my Business Administration Apprenticeship.  I am currently completing an Intermediate Level Diploma in Human Resource Management whilst supporting the Business and HR functions within the Trust.

Stuart Hardy

I am an experienced Chartered HR Generalist having spent much of my career within Local Government. I have wide experience dealing with a vast array of HR matters from Employment Cycle, Casework, Pay and Reward, Organisational Design, Restructures, Redundancies, TUPE and Workforce Strategy. I have a firm belief in the ethos of QEGSMAT. I am committed to making sustainable changes within the Trust to improve experiences and educational outcomes for all. I believe in ensuring our biggest resource is supported and developed then we will be able to drive school improvement.

Rebecca Steeples

I have nearly 30 years of experience in the Finance Sector. I am continually developing my knowledge and experiences and sharing our good practices and skills across the growing Multi Academy Trust and this is something that I am very proud to be part of.

David Roberts

I am an experienced leader in the strategic development of data systems for all Key Stages, tracking progress and measuring attainment across all learning groups. Over the past few years I have created a number of spread sheets providing targets from external sources, analysing report data and calculating headline figures from results. In addition I have collaborated with the Creative Technologist at QEGS to create a new Flight Path tracking system replacing the old KS2-4 level structure. I am currently working on integrating behaviour and absence data into the progress and attainment structures as well as developing monitoring systems for KS1-2. In addition, impact over time will be tracked using a Meta-Analytic Tracking System.

Valerie Bostock

As the MAT’s Finance Manager I am responsible for the Trust’s management accounts, financial systems and processes. I work to ensure the Trust’s cash and other assets are safe and secure, and provide support and guidance to other schools. I have over 30 years experience of working in finance management roles, which includes extensive experience in the Education sector.

Barbara Smith

Having taught for over 15 years I am now the Director of School Improvement for the QEGSMAT. I have experience in delivering high quality learning and teaching, have led an effective team as a Curriculum Leader and became an Assistant Headteacher responsible for leading a very successful Sixth Form for 4 years. I became a SLE in 2016 for curriculum development and school improvement, I am a National Pupil Premium Reviewer and have recently provided school to school support within the locality. The support provided has resulted in a school designated Special Measures to improve its judgement; I now provide school to school support and carry out PP Reviews in all phases of education and work with external providers to quality assure provision and standards. I am the Designated Safeguarding Lead for our Secondary Schools.
